I don't think the forum discussions suffers from that - on the contrary, Vbulletin is a well established forum software that is used a lot for many types of forums on the internet.
Not at all. vBulletin is a general purpose forum framework. There are loads of vBulletin sites around and many of them have nothing to do with programming so is it ironic that they are written in a programming language? This site has a sister site dedicated to VB. Should the management develop two forum sites from scratch just so that they can be written in the language that they service?
