Question Embed image in email

Looking for most straightforward code to embed an image in an email using cid (not base64)
Images not available publicly but can be sent as attachment if required. Any working code appreciated.

It was the first result in a Bing search for "system.net.mail embed image". I recommend that .NET developers use Bing in preference to Google as, in my experience, the Microsoft search engine works better for Microsoft development questions.

Note that the code there is VB but the principle and types are exactly the same for C# and only the syntax will change.
