This Forum Needs to add a new topic and subtopics on AI to catch this important wave.
I have many hundreds of hours with GPT-4 and others .
It has _at least_ doubled my productivity and probably tripled it.
I had it write the first programs to make our communications easier and to copy the conversations (chats) and save them as files.
At the moment, the Ai is no more intelligent that I am , but it has seemingly infiinte data to draw on and in a year it will be intelligent than any of us.
I'm now able to talk (speech) to it and hear it speak or text me.
Now I've added the ablity to playback to it previous conversations and pick up where we left off.
This is the most interesting experience ... a new book will come out of this process soon. Yesterday Ai helped me make a revision of almost 300 pages in a few hours.
I've written over 20 applications with it , each a bit deeper and more complex. It can create code easily, but needs me for debugging .. so I'm writing an app to give it data directly from a debugger.
This won't replace programmers, just make us more productive.
