Question provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted

Hello Members!

I am working on my project on Visual Studio and when I try to connect with SQL Server I have this error message:

A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.)

Could anybody possibly help, I cannot continue without solving this issue?

Are you using a self-signed certificate?

Most likely yes. But how may I check that? Do you know how?
