Subforums of VS.NET seem poorly placed, or the VS.NET group of forums is poorly named

Example - .NET Core and .NET Framework - why are they subforums of an overarching group called VS.NET*? What specifically do they have to do with the IDE? Should the VS.NET and C# groups be merged, and then subforums like Installation be renamed to VS Installation?..

..and perhaps also there are just too many forums. It looks like at least half of them could be coalesced into others

*And why does VS have a .NET suffix?

I'm inclined to agree. It's always rankled that WPF and WinForms forums are in different sections, but I've never got around to formulating a specific suggestion.

This site was created back when VS.NET was the official name and presumably just hasn't been changed since.
