Suspicious Cloud 9 attack

I installed the Visual Studio 2015 Preview the other day..and ever since I did Norton is warning me of a Suspicious Cloud.9 attack in vbupdater.dll

was wondering if anyone knew anything about this?

should I uninstall the preview?

I would think about uninstalling Norton and going with a real virus scan.
I believe McAfee & Norton are still the top two most compromised antivirus solutions, they've both been crap for over 10 years now.

what would you suggest as an alternative to norton?

Kaspersky, avg, eset, bitdefender, trend micro, MS Security Essentials, pretty much anything but McAfee or Norton is going to be tremendously better.
Also to really get rid of either McAfee or Norton, I suggest wiping your system and doing a clean install of windows before installing a real antivirus.
