Question TaskManager 2 parts listing processes ?

I want to find out what property decides where the 'process' ia shown in the TaskManager window.

When YOU start a process, it seems like making it VISIBLE or INVISIBLE makes the difference.

But the TaskManage list of processes has no property "Visable" !

What makes the difference - shown as an APP or shown as a BACKGROUND process ?

It's a made-up term.

If the process has a visible window, then Task Manager calls it an “App”.

If the process is marked as critical, then Task Manager calls it a “Windows Process”.

Otherwise, Task Manager calls it a “Background Process”.
