Answered Visual Studio Adding standard events

Hi,
Recently returned to C#. Been doing VB.Net for too long I guess. I am trying to get VS to show me the available events for a control, form, etc. In VB, they show up on the right-hand side drop down. I cannot get VS to show me any of the available ones. I typed it in by hand and it shows up, but the event is never called. Any ideas on how to remedy this?
