Question Window Application Setup Problem

Hi every one

my question might be quite simple but m new to this problem .. so please help me in this regard

scenerio is

I installed a window application through its setup on my pc . now i want to install the second version of the app on PC . the problem is that i want to ask the user that whether he want to deploy that version over the previous version or have to install it on seperate location as a complete different app ??
