Question Before MVC 3 ,MVC2

I'm new to MVC since that what would be the best learning resources for MVC 2 with out razor syntax , so i can use ASP .NET for front end development ,

any CRUD operation sample projects would even be helpful

What you do is up to you but you really should use Razor. It's much better.

Razor is important , but i want to start without it and forcus on the rest of mvc 1/2 aspects and after forward to mvc 3 with razor

I have started Professional ASP.NET MVC 1.0 book and going very fast
here I`m doing the NerdDinner application for the starting project
