changing Excel columns into dates format?

hey guys i need some help i have a excell file that im trying to insert in to a db which i got working my only problem is that i have dates in the excell sheet that is in number form for eg( 141210) instead of (14/12/10) so it wont allow the insert due to the sql column for dates and time is set to date and time

so i was wondering any way of changing theses columns into dates format before entering the database
