Hi all!
Hopefully this is in the right place but please let me know if not!
Basically I've worked as a 2nd line support/project engineer for about 5 years now, doing things like Windows server administration, etc. but I've learnt C# and used it in a few side projects. I really enjoy development and want to make the jump from being in ops to doing C# full time.
My question really is around Microsoft certification. Is this the best way to show a new/prospective employer that I have skills in C#? All the jobs around me seem to be for developers with a few years experience. I think these certifications may help me break in but I wasn't sure if they would just be a waste of that.
Any help/advice would be great
Cheers,
Sam.
