Under generalsupervision from the IT Manager, performs complex professional work in systemsdevelopment, including some administrative duties.
REQUIREDSKILLS and EXPERIENCE
· 2+years of applications development in an SQL environment
· 2+ years of development using C#.net
· Extensiveuse of Crystal Reports software for creating business reports
EXAMPLE OFDUTIES
· Performsall duties assigned to Programmer Analyst and Programmer positions; providestechnical assistance, as required, to Programmer Analysts and other I.S.employees, capable of performing any function on installed systems.
· Functionsas the Data Base Administrator. Has responsibility to define all databases and maintainaccuracy and consistency in the data dictionary for all applications.Responsible for defining and maintaining all data interface definitions betweenvarious application platforms, such as Network Servers, Web Servers, DatabaseServers, etc.
· Ableto perform as a project leader of any project from definition toimplementation; ability to manage both human and computer resources in a mannerthat project is verifiably accurate and on schedule.
· Worksat the highest level of all technical phases of programming; requires a highdegree of creative thinking and the ability to use the accumulated knowledgeand experience of others.
· Criticallyreviews all programs prior to implementation to verify consistency andconformance with established departmental guidelines, policies and practices aswell as industry standard guidelines; performs acceptance testing and programimplementation for assigned systems and/or projects.
· Conductsthorough problem analysis in regard to technical system and application programs;documents findings and proposes problem resolution alternatives.
· KeepsIT Systems Development Manager apprised of the status of all problems andassigned projects on a regular basis.
· Capableof designing application solutions to user department needs withoutsupervision; maintains current working knowledge of all installed applicationsystems.
· Responsiblefor continuous review of disaster recovery plan to insure completeness andaccuracy to quickly restore all applications in the event of a disaster orother interruption of processing.
