hello ,
I believe that you here guys have encountered this error before when trying to update Record in Db
Inner message says" The underlying provider failed on Open"
Tried to restart service and on the server as well but no sense . another try was to change the identity of the app pool and enable the DTC but again No sense .
I need ur support guys ,

You provided no information about what EXACTLY you were doing when this error occurred. That is ALWAYS relevant.

when i am hitting the database to add a record am getting this error
before i move to my project i was consuming the db properly from a test project
but i involved in the implemented project i got this error
