There's little to no reason that code you already have would not work in .NET 6. If you were to show us that code and explain the issue(s) you're having then we could probably explain what change(s) you need to make.
As a quick aside, if you are already using Entity Framework in your .NET 6.0 code, and you are using EF properly, then you are already using the unit of work pattern.
