Not sure if this is the correct thread for this question...if this is incorrect , please move it...!
I have a friend that has a small sign business, he prints banners , car wraps and vinyl lettering.......
he asked me if it was possible to create a vinyl cutting plotter program...the program would include a way to create the lettering and do basic effects to it....
effects would include
scale
warp (bend , arc twist....etc.)
outline
then the ability to send the vector text to the cutter machine.......
i Know it is possible but not sure where to start in the creation of a program like this.
anyone have any ideas as to where I wold start or any online resources for such a program?
any help is appreciated
