Question Wide vs Fixed layout for the forum?

I'm using a 45" LG 5K/2K monitor. While I don't mind the full width layout, I wonder if it's really the right decision. So give me your feedback, would you prefer fixed width or fluid (full width)?

I like the fluid, but not that I really make true use of full width. I've a 2560x1080 ultra wide monitor, but I use overlapping 1600x1050 sections of the screen for my long lived windows like Chrome, Visual Studio, or VSCode. If need to see more, I resize the window. So in the case of our forum in a browser, I'd like it to use that space instead of being fixed with and just having dead real estate.
